The Blossom of Splendor by Frou Frou seen here is a camisole and pant combo but this pattern is also available as a short gown or chemise. Plaid, Polka Dot and Tapestry Pjs

Pajamas and nightshirts fly off the shelves at Secret Drawers Lingerie at this time of year. Everyone is looking for fun and fashionable ways to lounge around the Christmas tree, it seems. It's not a problem where we're concerned because we have several lines, including Blush, to see you through.

New BedHead Gown and Chemise

New BedHead pajamas in this week are already selling like really comfortable hotcakes. These items are cute, fun and resemble summer dresses you might wear out in the sun.

A Pair of New Frou Frou

We have a new secret in our drawers: New Frou Frou in lavender, pink and pale mint.

Frou Frou is one of the lines from Canadian company Kenan. It represents a particularly feminine touch in delicate sleepwear.

Part of the Frou Frou autumn / winter 2011 collection is the Opera chemise, seen right. Romantic, pink, stretch lace is seen atop a silken jersey. 

If you prefer a traditional pant and shirt pajama option, the Picture Perfect, seen left, might be for you.

This pajama set has floral printed, pants and button-up top with full-sleeves. The pjs are a cotton / bamboo blend, soft right off the hanger.

The Frou Frou Picture Perfect have a waist with drawstring and elastic as well as satin piping on the sleeve and collar. Details also include pearlized buttons with raised ridges.

We think both looks will give you sweet dreams.

BedHead in the Summer

Bedhead doesn't save itself just for the cooler weather, as anyone can attest after seeing my curls on an August morning. Luckily, BedHead pajamas improve the look substantially.

New BedHead pjs are in pink Carolina paisley and Tiffany blue fleur de lis voile (pattern seen right). The style of BedHead pajamas we're carrying has a t-shirt top and a stretch cap sleeve adorned with a slight ruffle at the top.

LaCera - Cotton Comfort

Underwear absolutely matters and we relish in fine underthings, but sometimes comfy sleepwear is what you need under the covers and while cuddling on the couch.

LaCera is a line specializing in comfortable cotton but with pin tuck, ruffle and embroidery detailing that makes you feel beautiful and feminine.

To the right, is the Batiste, a 3/4 length gown with pin tucking through the bodice, side seam pockets and a flounce hem. Shell buttons and delicate embroidery are special extra details.

To the left is a breezy, more ornate nightgown with an ivy-floral pattern. Rosy pink and mint green paint the feminine print. Ruffles accent the neckline and sleeves. A more relaxed ripple finishes the gown at the bottom. The ivy-floral print is also available in pjs, which are also sleeveless.

Bamjamz - Something New Under the Covers

Sure, in the winter it's nice to curl up in flannel pjs, but as the weather warms we need something a little lighter under the covers; enter Bamjamz.

Bamjamz is a new line of rayon-bamboo sleepwear, bringing contemporary cool to bed. To the right, you can see a Bamjamz tunic, designed as an extra long shirt so you can wear it with, or without, the matching leggings.

We're also carrying the Classic Signature, full-length, pants. With a drawstring waist, they're perfect for nighttime, daytime or yoga-time.

Bamjamz is about "energy, youthfulness, and waking up in the morning with a smile on your face," according to Brad Rudin, the co-founder and creative director of Bamjamz.

We're also carrying short-tees with new, hip prints, one in garden green and gold, that might make you believe Rudin and his team are onto something. Or, at least, that's what Elle Canada, the Globe and Mail and The Hollywood Minute seem to think.

Secret Drawers Lingerie Top 10

As this is the new year we thought we'd take a look back at some of our favorite lingerie, loungewear and, of course, underwear items from 2010. Today we'll reveal numbers 10 - 6.

10.  Bedhead Pajamas - These are a top-of-the-line pajama that wash and wear beautifully a are a long-time favorite of ours. They are a finer cotton flannel than is normally found in pajamas.

Many were snapped up for Christmas, but if you weren't lucky to find a pair under your tree, stop by and try on a pair.

9.  The Empreinte Lingerie line - The Empreinte line keeps coming out with superior bras and matching underwear that make a full-figured woman look her very best. We wear it and we love it.

8.  The Unbelievabra - The Unbelievabra Ultimate by Shapeez is a unique foundation garment that is known for both slimming the torso and also removing bulges on the back with it's slimmer and bra built-in-one. And we absolutely had to have it on our list as even a chiropractor loves its benefits of reducing back pain.

Pajamas Are Extremely Popular Christmas Gifts

Yes, that's right, I said the word: Christmas. I know, of course, that it's two months away, but the earlier you browse the selection at Secret Drawers Lingerie, the more satisfied you and your giftee will be.

Today's pajama selection is from Frankie and Johnny. Frankie and Johnny's idea is a simple one: Create a line of fun, comfy, cozy jammies that you can live in, 24/7.

Frankie and Johnny pull their inspiration from family adventure and everyday things, like these moccasin-clad lounge pjs, seen right. Like every Frankie and Johnny style we have selected this year, these are made of bamboo rayon and cotton. And yes, the deep red utters the word Christmas, but the whimsical print makes it in season any time.

Sleepshirts by Frankie and Johnny are also available. The Le Maroc sleepshirt, seen left, consists of a classic black-and-white pattern adorned with contrasting trim and buttons, and one front pocket under the left shoulder.
